We are currently looking for a full-time Human Resources Manager.
A qualified Manager will have at least 5-10 years experience in Human Resources.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Partner with leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy needs.
Communicate issues and policies with employees; interpret and enforce employee handbook language Cooperate with leadership on company policy decisions and seek input in key areas Work to enforce company policies as well as update and improve policies in other areas Recommend procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Manage and facilitate worker's compensation cases, protecting the company.
Participate in safety committee, working with leadership on safety initiatives; OSHA 300 reporting Work with manufacturing facility leadership to maintain and update employee skills matrices and create training and development plans for employees Track, update, and monitor all corrective action for employees Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Coordinate company benefits packages including health, vision, and dental plans; life insurance; short term and long term disability Ensure company complies with latest regulatory requirements and document compliance Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
Provides support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
The Human Resources Manager is also responsible for the input of accounts payable invoices and mailing checks.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred HR certificates and training are preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
A minimum of 3 years experience in Human Resources High proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
